About Rockpool Soldiers Point

Rockpool Soldiers Point is a self contained holiday house fronting a nature reserve on the shores of Port Stephens. The name Rockpool is taken from the painstakingly built Rockpool on the edge of the water. With a sandy bottom and protected from waves, the Rockpool itself makes a great place for kids to paddle and for adults to relax in a cooling, pleasant location.

The house, located in Kent Gardens, consists of 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and multiple indoor and outdoor living areas. Every room is reverse cycle air conditioned and cooled by ceiling fans. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a double garage for the cars with additional outdoor parking for a boat. A large yard is landscaped with native trees providing several spots to sit and enjoy the garden and the birds that are attracted to it.

Although Rockpool Soldiers Point is a relaxing place to enjoy a holiday, there is plenty to do nearby. Fishing is great just of the front of the Rockpool, there is a nearby jetty for boating (100m) and within walking distance are a number of cafes, restaurants and the Soldiers Point Bowling Club. If you like walking, there are plenty of bush and waterside walking tracks and bike riding is a breeze with the flat roads.

Make sure you save time to watch some of the beautiful sunsets (from Rockpool Soldiers Point the sun sets over the water) or keep an eye out for the variety of bird and animal life plus the dolphins that regularly pass in front of the house.

The house is cleverly designed to provide plenty of little areas where couples or smaller groups can relax. The large outdoor entertaining area, dining room and lounge room all provide enough space for the entire group to be together. To ensure maximum comfort, Rockpool Soldiers Point caters for a maximum of 8 people in a group.

Foxtel, DVD players, two TVs (upstairs and down) and a stereo are for your entertainment. A phone is provided for local calls.
